    Description

2001-2 February MARS REVEALED National Geographic Map Space School
A close-up look at Mars, the most Earth-like of the other planets in our solar system. The map-side is a mosaic of some 1000 images of the entire planet taken since 1999 by the Mars Orbiter Camera, with insets of the two poles, which provides a colorful relief map. The reverse-side includes several photographs of unique Martian land features, as well as a discussion of their possible cause. There is also a time-line of remote exploration attempts to investigate Mars. It is believed that wind and possibly water and lava are still changing the face of the Red Planet.
    Map measures approximately 20” x 32”.
The National Geographic is known for it's fine maps & detailed information.
Supplement to the National Geographic Magazine; magazine is not included.
