This is the Deluxe Morakniv ferro rod holder that fits the Companion and the Companion HD. It will hold up to a 1/2" diameter ferro rod. This new model has the addition of a 20mm oil filled button compass and an integrated ultra loud whistle. This item is 3D printed out of durable ABS plastic. They fit extremely tight on the sheath, and do not require any glue. These have been well tested in the field and we have not had any fall off. Condition is New. Shipped with USPS.
Having the knife in the sheath with the compass attached will effect the reading of the compass. Either take the holder off of the sheath, or safely take the knife out of the sheath in order to get an accurate reading.
This holder will come with 2 ferro rod spacers to fit different sized rods. If you find that the size or shape of your ferro rod handle interferes with the insertion of the rod, insert the next bigger sized rod spacer to give it more room to articulate.
Being that these are 3D printed, there may be slight visual imperfections, but nothing that compromises structural integrity, or hinders its function.
