Rare Antique 1899 Theatre Play Poster The New Baby Chaperoned By David DeWolf. Condition is pretty rough as shown, but nothing out of the ordinary for a single sheet of paper that’s over 100 years old. Either way, a great image, very rare, I could not find another like it though I was able to read about the play and see other examples of theatre posters from it. Copyright in corner reads 1899, no other marks suggest that it is a facsimile and the condition surely suggests its original. It is currently in a large plastic sleeve bolstered by a large price of cardboard, which is how I’ll be shipping it even though I hate to lose my sleeve. Unfortunately this will make shipping exponentially more expensive but I do not think it is stable enough to ship another way. Please see all of the rips along the edges, and paper is very brittle, please be mindful of this if you remove it from the sleeve! Poster itself measures about 28” by 22.5”, sleeve a bit bigger. I can not emphasize the condition enough, if you have hesitation at all, kindly abstain from bidding because I’d rather not encourage someone handling it, making the condition worse, then issuing a return request. Please!
