1. Why do I still need the 1-din Honda factory radio?
An aftermarket stereo you want to install will be a peripheral device like XM radio that sends audio and video signals to the Honda factory radio. The factory radio will do the same job even after an Android stereo being installed.
2. How do I set the Honda factory radio to use an aftermarket stereo?
All audio and video signal goes thru Aux mode of the factory radio so you need to set the factory radio Aux mode.
